STATUS QUO - ABC -> K
Pete Kircher: Pete Kircher was the second Status Quo drummer from 1982 to 1985. After John Coghlan called it a day a drummer was urgently needed, because the band was deep into recording sessions on the forth-coming album "1+9+8+2". Francis Rossi remembered Pete Kircher from studio sessions with John Cann and Pete Kircher joined the band. In his short Quo period he took part of some outstanding events of Status Quo's career. In 1982 he was on drums on the first gig where a member of the Royals (Prince Charles) attended the show at the N.E.C./Birmingham. Then he was drummer on the legendary "End of the Road" tour in 1984 and on the Live-Aid-Event in 1985 Pete again was on the drums. This was his last gig with Status Quo.
